Thanks to a little, no make that big help from his wife, Robert successfully conquered Most Expensive. Well, what the...nothing on Plinko! Looks like this has happened before, as Bob didn't say anything about this being the first. Slow and calm play lead Frederick to his Bonkers win. More trouble at the Grocery Game cash register strikes another model (Rachel). Claudia was not present on today's show.
Yep, it was all blonds this morning (excluding Joyce and Loni on the Match Game episodes on Game Show Network's countdown to Bob's big 8-0). Expect something like this again in the future once we're into the shows after Claudia's sudden departure for reasons that just don't add up.
Remember, Friday the 12th, Bob's big 8-0 and no sign of slowing down.

Showcase: Patricia wins ($29,688 in prizes); Popcorn Cart, Bedroom Group, and TV
Wish Traci got behind the wheel of her Corvette instead of a passenger seat. I guess today’s Golden Road playing made Bob rush to commercials after the $10,000 Punch-A-Bunch win. I lost count of how many times Jonathan of the Air Force switched price tags in Clearance Sale. “Got Plinko” was on Jennifer’s shirt. Sorry, no Plinko today! Another shirt quote “Show Me The Money” was on Robin’s, along with a drawing of the Big Wheel. Patricia wanted to know the measurements for both the boat and TV featured in today’s Showcase.
Game Show Network continues the countdown to Bob’s big 8-0 with a batch of Tattletales and the rarely seen Steve Allen I’ve Got A Secret, featuring Bob as a celebrity guest. Remember all of this, Wayne Brady, Friday, and Million Dollar Special, Saturday. One of those rare times I watch something on CBS Primetime.

Coming or Going: Ashley lost (Going); Grandfather Clock ($3075)

Showcase Showdown #2: James wins with $2.00 ($10,000)
Showcase: Judy wins ($23,708 in prizes); Living Room Group, Security System, and Trips to Papete/Bora Bora/Tahiti
James claimed that Ashley stoled his $6 bid. R-A-C means today's winning order for Spelling Bee! We were on the verge of a perfect show until Ashley lost on Coming or Going. At last, $10,000 on the Big Wheel. Bob said it before and he says "Boy, that was clost!" yet again after today's Showcase win. Yep, close to a perfect show.
Mark your calenders or keep it in mind at least to watch/tape the Wayne Brady Show this Friday. Bob will be celebrating the big 8-0 on that particular show. Also, watch the first of more Million Dollar Specials starting this Saturday.
Flip Flop: Tenley lost (flopped); Trip to Australia

Race Game: Teresa wins Desk and Piano
Showcase Showdown #1: Tenley wins with 65 cents
Squeeze Play: Katherine lost; Spa ($4735)
Secret X: Leah wins; Living Room Group
That's Too Much: James lost; Chevy Impala
Showcase Showdown #2: Katherine wins with 35 cents (spin off)
Showcase: Katherine wins ($30,235 in prizes); Bedroom Set, Luggage, and Buick Century
Introducing, strait from Chicago, and fresh off Oprah, Jacquie Amacher is a prime example that dreams do indeed come true. Now if only that be proven without the help of Oprah Winfrey. Anyway, Jacquie not only got to model, but even got to tell the next contestant to come on down. Nope, the “no announcers on camera” rule by FremantleMedia didn’t stop Jacquie from getting camera time at the announcer’s podium. Best of luck, Jacquie!
Danger Price: Nathan lost ($620 was Danger Price); Armoire, Serve Ware, Freezer Chest, and Bar Set
Showcase Showdown #1: Alfredo wins with 75 cents
Double Prices: Leroy lost; Floor Clock
One Away: Raymond wins; Ford Taurus ($20,682)
Check Out: Teresa lost; Dining Room Group
Showcase Showdown #2: Leroy wins with 75 cents
Showcase: Leroy wins ($35,376 in prizes); Trip to Cancun, Fireplace , Chrysler Sebring, and Winter Collection
I suddenly have a hankering for some alfredo! Newlywed Gretchin didn't need to listen to Burt Rich describing the items to win Plinko chips. Speaking of old Plinko, the winnings display wasn't working for reasons we don't know as of yet. "Come on, come on!" says Leroy while playing Double Prices. Yes, all five numbers right on One Away! Even though Teresa and her son David (in the audience) work in a grocery store, they still lost Check Out.
Five Price Tags: Kenneth wins (4 Tags); Ford Explorer ($26,830)
Take Two: Mitchell wins; Daybed, Patio Heaters, Appliances, and Motorscooter
Showcase Showdown #1: Kenneth wins with 75 cents
Grand Game: Robert wins $10,000
Pushover: Sherry wins; Trip to Coasta Rica ($4578)
Card Game: Shaunte lost; Chevy Cavalier ($16,145)
Showcase Showdown #2: Shaunte wins with 70 cents
Showcase: Kenneth wins ($51,452 in prizes); Power Tools, "Wild Rider" game, and Trailer
Well, what the....Rebecca missed by only $1.00 in Range Game! Bob calls her "the biggest loser in Range Game history", in a good way of course. Future doctor Mitchell demonstrated his athletic ability after his Take Two win. Bob's attempt at a tease with Robert of the Air Force (out of uniform) backfired as he revealed the winning price for $10,000 too soon. Burton got himself very brief camera time. Speaking of old Burt Rich, I'm actually getting laughs out of his "9-oh-oh-3-6" bit.
Safe Crackers: Andrew wins ($450 for Cellphone); Chevy Calvalier
Hole in One: Cheri lost; Ford Mustang
One Wrong Price: Nicholas lost; Desk, Artwork (wrong price), and Sofa
Showcase Showdown #1: Cheri wins with 90 cents
Coming or Going: Georgette lost; Brass Bed ($5754)
Pathfinder: Ruklanthi lost; Ford Windstar ($23,697)
Switch?: Jacob wins with a "switch"; Dining Group and Clock
Showcase Showdown #2: Jacob wins with $1.00 ($1,000)
Showcase: Jacob wins ($25,471); Ski Equipment, Snowmobile, Snow Blower, Trip to Canada
I wonder who Andrew was bowing to before Safe Crackers, Bob or Claudia? More proof that Bob's missing putts inspires losses such as today's loss. Bob cracks under the stress of pronouncing Ruklanthi's (Ruk for short) name. First "9-uh-oh-3-6", now Rich Burton is pulling a "9-oh-oh-3-6" bit. What's next, "9-uh-uh-3-6"? Unlikely, I guess, but remember this is the same guy that said "Bobbbbbbbbb Birkkkkkkerrrrrr".
Barker's Bargain Bar: Sarah wins; Trip to Boston and Burmuda
Pass the Buck: Carole wins Pontiac Sunfire and $1,000
Bonkers: Annette wins Entertainment Center and TV ($7248)
Showcase Showdown #1: Sarah wins with $1.00 ($1,000)
Barker's Markers: Giovanina wins; Sofa, Gym, and Fireplace
Any Number: Sandra wins Espresso Maker; Dodge Neon
Cliff Hangers: Christopher lost; Bedroom Group
Showcase Showdown #2: Sandra wins with 80 cents
Showcase: Sandra wins ($16,137 in prizes); Bread, Dining Room Group, and Piano
I'd thought about a month ago that would be the last we hear of Richard Burtonson, er Burton Richardson until today. Jeanne representing the audience walked the entire way from San Jose to Los Angeles to today's show, mostly for a charity. "That's the breaks of life", says Giovanina after giving up her $500 to make a markers correction. Bob was given a Special Olympics medel by an audience member that participated in those games. Sandra managed to keep her hyper self down from possible injury to herself and/or Bob. "Get, get, get," was Bob's reaction to Sandra before commercial break after Showcase Showdown #2. Nope, Burton didn't go back to his "9-Uh-Oh-3-6" bit again.
