Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6266)
Clock Game: Patricia wins (1 second left); Armoire ($678) and Water Walking System ($899)
Master Key: Matthew wins (2 Keys, including Master Key); Ice Skates, Cookware, and Chrysler PT Cruiser
Grand Game: Sylvia wins $10,000 (Target Price $5.00)
Showcase Showdown #1: Matthew wins with 85 cents
Freeze Frame: Ronald lost; Trip to Holland ($6727)
Clearance Sale: Jan lost; Power Tools, Motorcycle, and Daybed
Showcase Showdown #2: Vanessa wins with $1.00 ($1000)
Showcase: Vanessa wins; “The Price is Right Department Store”, Showcase, Swimwear, Sailboat, and Piano ($38,286 in prizes)
Bob was quite amazed by even the thought of the Water Walking System featured in the Clock Game. According to someone off camera, the prize has been offered “occasionally” in the past. Matthew, a two-year veteran of the USA’s Army joined the show wearing a yellow shirt with the words, “The Army Loves Bob” in dark type. Before Sylvia became $10,000 richer, she earned it through the Grand Game, which our host referred to as “Bonus Game” at one point before immediately correcting himself. Unfortunately for our strong Canadian postmaster, the Trip to Holland costs a little more than a price in the $5000-$6000 range. As Bob built up the excitement surrounding Card Game, Boston, Massachusetts native Vanessa used the time to twist the hair behind her head (probably out of nervousness), but stopped in time for her victory. Vanessa was the last one standing in Showcase Showdown #2, so there was no need to be nervous this time, thus allowing her strands of hair to move freely once the Big Wheel stops at $1.00. Today’s Showcase featured Aristotle Onassis, Ludwig Von Beethoven, and Norma Jean, all whom have risen from “The Graveyard of Prizes” before making their way into “The Price is Right Department Store” Showcase. “Norma” found some Swimwear to replace her white dress ruined from being under the dirt. We end today’s show with Vanessa celebrating with our trio of the “living dead”, with Bob and our announcer Rich on both ends waving good bye. Good day, Halloween and non-Halloween lovers everywhere!
Barker’s Bargain Bar: Nicole wins; Exercise Bicycle and Chair (Bargain of $1500)
Plinko: Tiffany wins $500 with 5 Plinko chips
Ten Chances: Jordana wins (9 chances); Alarm Clock ($60), Karaoke Machine ($960) and Ford F-150 ($21,960)
Showcase Showdown #1: Jordana wins with 90 cents
Side By Side: Aaron wins (Right Side); Watercraft ($8398)
Pick A Pair: Justin wins (Entrée and Peanut Butter cost $2.99);
Cover Up: Sheryl lost; Pontiac Sunfire ($17,285)
Showcase Showdown #2: Aaron wins with 90 cents
Showcase: Jordana wins; Living Room Group, Maid Service, and Trip to New Zealand ($50,204 in prizes)
Members of the audience seemed worried about Nicole’s choice in the Bargain Bar after the Exercise Bicycle’s actual price was revealed first. As Tiffany’s outcome in Plinko appeared to be nothing by “0”, Bob asked our audience if they ever watched a game of Plinko years ago when the female contestant dropped all five Plinko chips into the “0” slots. Numerous responses of “no” were heard throughout the studio. In spite of the last four chips, Tiffany leaves the show $500 richer. Between the Alarm Clock and the Ford-F150, Jordana actually used seven of her ten chances to price the Karaoke Machine. Captain Aaron of the USA’s Army joins our host on stage for Side By Side. Sheryl had only digit in the Pontiac automobile’s price to correct in Cover Up after the first try, but a spectacular outcome was not meant to be today. Sheryl’s son in the audience was invited on stage to help spin the Big Wheel on his day of birth. He spun the wheel a second time on account of her, gaining another 65 cents. Today’s Showcases featured a Trailer, Maid Service for a Year, and a Trip to New Zealand. We end today’s show with Jordana and her crew in the new living room. Good day!
Triple Play: Barbara lost; Chrysler PT Cruiser ($15,480), Jeep Wrangler ($18,765), and a Convertible
Grand Game: McKaye lost $1000 (Target Price $4.00)
Flip Flop: Matthew lost by “flopping”; Trip to Belgium ($7549)
Showcase Showdown #1: McKaye wins with $1.00 ($1000)
Bonus Game: Jacob lost (Fourth Window Had “Bonus”); Spa
Any Number: Marvin wins; Ford Focus ($16,492) and Wall Clock ($570)
1 Right Price: Melissa wins; Elliptical Cross Trainer ($2599) and Day Bed
Showcase Showdown #2: Jacob wins with 85 cents
Showcase: Jacob wins; “Something For Every Room of the House” Showcase, 42-inch TV Set, Roll-Operated Guitar, Computer, and Bar Set ($22,016 in prizes)
After Barbara attempted to get on our host’s left side, Bob managed to hand her over to his right in what appeared to be a short dance move. “Fourteen”, said members of the audience chanting the first four digits in the price closest to the Chrysler automobile’s actual price. Unfortunately, Barbara never considered one price closest to the Jeep Wrangler that would have kept her in Triple Play. The price of the cleaner featured in Grand Game was quite a surprise for both McKaye and Bob. As Matthew ran over to the Turntable to play Flip Flop, he managed to kiss Bob’s right cheek, which is not viewed as lewd in some parts of the world. McKaye was close to becoming $5000 richer in Showcase Showdown #1, but the wheel stopped only one peg away from 5 cents. Marvin wearing a “55 Years with Her” shirt with an arrow was our hero for the day after his playing of Any Number. Schoolteacher and mother Melissa escapes Contestant’s Row at the last possible moment. Today’s Showcase began in almost complete darkness and ended with a Lincoln Town Car. We end today’s show with Jacob and “Something For Every Room in the House”.
Make Your Move: Janessa wins; Jump Starter ($30), Desk ($990), and Golf Cart ($6933
Check Out: Andrea lost ($6.88 difference); Trip to St. Croix
Showcase Showdown #1: Janessa wins with 65 cents
Joker: John lost (Joker Behind Card #4); Living Room Group and 27-inch TV
That’s Too Much: Mary lost; Ford Focus ($18,924)
Double Prices: James wins; Sauna ($4695)
Showcase Showdown #2: Mary wins with 95 cents
Showcase: Janessa wins; “Top Four Reasons to Quit Your Job” Showcase, Dual Bicycle, Cappuccino Machine, Trip to Chicago, and Pontiac Grand Prix ($37,055 in prizes)
Lauren of Florida, New York proudly held up the one dollar bill needed to win in Lucky 7. “Bless you, my child, bless you”, said Bob after loyal viewer Janessa made her moves without ever changing her mind. Andrea of Canada seemed to be on his way to St. Croix of the Virgin Islands, but it clear to some viewers and members of the audience that he priced the calcium tablets too low in Check Out. Representing a group of “idiots”, according to the shirt was John. Mary had a good shout of her Pricing Game’s namesake during practice, yet she would stop a couple of prices too soon. None of our second half contestants earned $11,000 each on the Big Wheel, which would have delighted our host that time, but more could be in store for Mary in the Showcase. Today’s Showcases featured novels, a Pair of Motorcycles, a Dual Bicycle, and a Pontiac Grand Prix that Janessa wanted to know more about. We end today’s show around the Pontiac automobile.
Check Game: Scott wins (Check for $2200); Catamaran ($2995)
Temptation: Dana lost; DVD/CD Home System, Bowl of Cash, Coffee Maker, Bar Set, and Ford Focus ($19,215)
Cliffhangers: Robert wins (20 steps); Bedroom Group
Showcase Showdown #1: Scott wins with 90 cents
Squeeze Play: Barbara lost (removed “9”); 50-inch TV Set ($3499)
Grocery Game: Ashley wins (Total $20.04); Trip to British Columbia, Canada
Money Game: Anthony wins; Chevy Cobalt ($16,422)
Showcase Showdown #2: Ashley wins with 35 cents
Showcase: Ashley wins; Dining Room Group, Springsteen Compact Discs, and Jukebox ($24,668 in prizes)
“Tomorrow is my Birthday”, according to Scott’s shirt on today’s show, which gave our host the opportunity to wish both the studio audience and home viewers an early happy birthday. Scott never finished his check, which may be acceptable on the show, but any bank teller would say otherwise. Staff Sergeant Robert of the USA’s Marines received a standing ovation from the audience after Bob gave mention to the ribbons proudly displayed on his uniform. Unfortunately, temptation never stopped Dana of Indianapolis, Indiana before going for the Ford automobile featured in the Pricing Game Temptation. Robert missed the first item’s price in Cliffhanger by 15 steps, but he managed to “proceed with caution”, as Bob would say. Barbara wearing a nice shirt with the CBS logo (including the abbreviation) joins Bob for Squeeze Play, where she unfortunately jumped to a quick conclusion on the two “9s”. After a successful win in the Grocery Game, Ashley unwillingly hit Bob’s nose as she tried to hug him, but no harm worthy of “worker’s compensation” was done. Carole of Contestant’s Row mentioned her son Rigel, who was on the show previously. Anthony the other half of a 56-year marriage to Lorena joins our host on stage as members of the audience chant “Anthony”. After a perfect game of Money Game and a commercial break, Anthony said he would give the Chevrolet automobile to Lorena, while he gets the one she’s been driving prior to today’s show. Today’s Showcase featured “Nosy Photos”, a convertible, and a jukebox that plays compact discs rather than records. We end today’s show in Ashley’s new dining room.
Barker’s Bargain Bar: Peter lost; 47-inch TV Set and Fireplace (Bargain of $1000)
Showcase Showdown #2: Shelby wins with $1.00 ($1000)
Showcase: “Meeting at the Oval Office” Showcase, Security System, Curio Cabinet, and GMC Envoy ($56,780 in prizes)
Connie represents the city where spending may come natural for her, and that great city happens to be Washington, D.C. When Connie asked our host if she can ask the audience for help, Bob said, "sure" and nothing more. Laurie “had her own style, but it worked”, according to Bob shortly after her victory in the Clock Game. Representing the now famous Bottom family making up today's audience was Kyle of Contestant’s Row, whose "story of my life" explaining his relation to the family was enough for our host to jokingly accuse him of being a phony. Justin managed to earn four cars out of five cubes in his first roll in Let ‘Em Roll before finishing the game after his final roll. Justin’s celebration above the Let ‘Em Roll set while holding the cube container was a safety hazard for our host. Peter’s “Future Plinko Champion” shirt lost all of its meaning the moment he missed his one and only chance at playing Plinko, but he would eventually win his way on stage later in the second half of the show. A second or two after Bob reminded Shelby about the $5000 card included in the Card Game’s blue deck, she found it. Before spinning the Big Wheel in Showcase Showdown #2, Peter presented Bob the Canadian flag. Today’s Showcases featured a Trip to Spain, the “First Couple” of the USA, and a GMC Envoy. We end today’s show with Shelby and her crew in pink around the new automobile. Good day!
Switch?: Janice lost with a “switch”; Treadmill and Chair
Showcase Showdown #2: David wins with 60 cents
Showcase: David wins; Dining Room Group, Cappuccino Machine, and Boat ($28,816 in prizes)
Chelsea of Virginia was renamed “Speedy” by Bob after finishing Freeze Frame quicker than most winning players have. David of Contestant’s Row actually did the seemly impossible by looking over the bid displays, but looking at the other three bids upside down wasn’t much help to win his way on stage for Safe Crackers. After Mabel was called to come on down, a dog named “Mabel” made her world debut on today’s show. After Mabel was released from her human keepers, she ran off behind stage. Rema’s run around the stage after seeing the grand prize in Pass the Buck ended by grabbing Bob with both arms around him. Rema used her last chance to win the highest amount of money in Pass the Buck after finding both spots that say, “Lose Everything”. David’s celebration of birth continues on stage as a contestant who gets to play Buy or Sell. As Bob was about to find out whether David made some good decisions in this game, he asked our contestant as he was doing some sort of dance, “am I distracting you?” Whatever David’s reasons for such silly behavior on stage were, it was all in the presence of the price revealers in Buy or Sell, whom he referred to as, “ beautiful”. Audience favorite (according to the chants) Mabel’s southern accent was making “an old man out of” Bob as he was trying to remove the cards rightfully chosen off the Spelling Bee board. Mabel got all “As” today, but left the stage $1000 richer after the third card. During David's spin of the Big Wheel, he not only said "hello" to his mother, but "to all the gorgeous girl of the world". Today’s Showcases featured a “fabulous hair stylist”, trips to Las Vegas and Fiji, and a Boat. We end today’s show with David and his crew celebrating in the new dining room.
Half Off: Elaine lost (2 Halves and Box #5); Box #4 contained $10,000
3 Strikes: Matthew lost; Ford Expedition ($37,914)
Coming or Going: Elizabeth lost by “Going”; Catamaran ($4195)
Showcase Showdown #1: Matthew wins with 90 cents
Most Expensive: Allison lost; Golf Equipment, Luggage Set, and Dining Room Table (Most Expensive)
Dice Game: Ian wins; Ford Mustang ($23,124)
Bullseye: Carolyn wins; Bedroom Group
Showcase Showdown #2: Allison wins with 65 cents
Showcase: Allison wins; “Do It Yourself” Showcase, Hot Air Balloon Rides, Trip to China, and Chrysler Sebring ($40,076 in prizes)
The number “5” may be a lucky number for some people, including myself who has always viewed Price on a certain channel 5, but it was a whole different case for Elaine during Half Off today. Matthew almost fell to the floor a second after hearing our announcer Rich say, “a Ford Expedition” as the Big Doors opened. After pulling out the strike twice, Matthew managed to get at least one digit in the Ford automobile’s price before guessing incorrectly where it belongs. Elizabeth ignored the audience reaction out of mistrust after making her decision in Coming or Going. Unfortunately, the Dining Room Table featured in Most Expensive didn’t seem very expensive to Allison, who had better things to come. Ian (pronounced both as E-AN and I-AN by Bob) seems to have a legion of fanatics in today’s audience, according to the louder than usual female applause. Before the commercial break, Bob told Ian to tell everyone back home that he, the gray haired old man is a nice one. Carolyn never hit the Bullseye, but luckily chose the one item above the hidden bullseye. Today’s Showcases featured a Cruise, a couple of Hot Air Balloon Rides, and a Chrysler automobile. Matthew overbid on his Showcase, so Allison becomes today’s top winner.
Swap Meet: Olivia lost (Barbecue Grill $899); Pair of Electric Guitars, Exercise Equipment, and Desk Chair ($899)
Bonkers: Rachel wins; Barrel Sauna ($5245)
Pass the Buck: Joel wins (Car Behind Card #3); Pontiac Sunfire
Showcase Showdown #1: Rachel wins with 80 cents
Barker’s Bargain Bar: Christopher wins ; Trip to Seattle (Bargain of $1500) and Arizona
Bonus Game: Donovan wins (Second Square); Dining Room Group
Line ‘Em Up: Dawn wins; Lamps, Coffee Maker, Knives, and Jeep Wrangler ($18,795)
Showcase Showdown #2: Donovan wins with $1.00 ($1000)
Showcase: Rachel wins; Bedroom Group, 42-inch TV set, and Snowmobile ($28,645 in prizes)
Olivia joins Bob for today’s Swap Meet, where she would soon learn that the Barbecue Grill featured equals the cost of a rather expensive Office Chair. According to our host at the end of Bonkers, “Rachel just needed a little more confidence” and shortly after that confidence boost given during the game she won. Joel’s three sons from Somerville, Georgia equaled his lucky number in Pass the Buck today. After our “little Bonkers champion” scored 80 cents on the Big Wheel, Joel said “hello” to his three sons John, Michael, David, his happily married parents of 59 years, and his wife in the audience. Donovan’s amusing first appearance in Contestant’s Row had our host laughing, yet according to Bob this fellow lacks some enthusiasm. Donovan’s nervous state on stage never affected his playing of the Bonus Game, which was won perfectly. Dawn has always wanted a Jeep since late childhood and she proved herself worthy of owning the automobile by lining up the price digits without losing a single chance. Donovan’s character continues to amaze Bob, who knows what he has in store for the Showcase? Today’s Showcases featured the “Café Barker”, the Chrysler Crossfire, and a Snowmobile. Donovan’s winning reaction in the Showcase was not meant to be today, as Rachel managed to bid closer to her Showcase’s actual price.
(Note: Folks, the show that aired on September 27th and today's show will air again on the air dates originally intended for them, which are November 3rd and 4th respectively. The shows originally set to air on September 27th and today will air later in Year 34 due to the trip to New Orleans offered in both of them. Good day!)
Golden Road: Derek lost (Starts with Candy at 81 cents); Wine Server Cart ($813), Motorcycle ($2394), and Cabin Cruiser ($81,243)
Grocery Game: Jordan wins (Total $20.27); Trip to Portugal
Plinko: Danielle wins $500 with 4 Plinko chips
Showcase Showdown #1: Danielle wins with 55 cents
Most Expensive: Kimberly wins; Grill (Most Expensive), Popcorn Cart, and Dining Room Table
That’s Too Much: Darryl lost; Chevy Malibu ($23,572)
Barker’s Bargain Bar: Carmilla wins; SCUBA Gear (Bargain of $1000) and Dinnerware
Showcase Showdown #2: Carmilla wins with 90 cents
Showcase: Danielle wins; Exercise Equipment and Snowmobile ($17,667 in prizes)
Bob made his entrance through the audience today, an early sign of the Golden Road coming up. The digits “9” and “2” were Derek’s best choices at the end of the road, but unfortunately for him the “9” stood out more. Jordan proved to be a good shopper in the Grocery Game in spite of not buying more Gold Fish crackers (89 cents) early in the game. Three of Danielle’s Plinko chips fell into a “$0” slot before the last one managed to get into the $500 slot, giving our player a good amount of money at the end. To some, including myself the term “senior moment” wouldn’t be a good thing to say in real life, but some would apply that to Bob during today’s show, especially near the end of Plinko. Our host received another kiss on the right cheek before Kimberly got to view her prizes in Most Expensive. Before Darryl was on stage, Bob would find out from contestant Rodney that he is 90 years of age, which is a surprise for our host since he ran after being called to "come on down". Darryl standing at 6 foot, 2 inches and over 200 pounds escapes Contestant’s Row before learning that he would play That’s Too Much. After an excellent shout of the game’s name, Darryl’s run through the prices began before stopping too soon. As the Dinnerware’s actual price was about to be revealed in Barker’s Bargain Bar, folks in the audience were chanting “SCUBA”. Today’s Showcases featured “Inventions That Did Not Make It”, a Snowmobile, and a Dodge Ram. Carmillla’s bid for the “Inventions” Showcase was too slow, so Danielle ended up as today’s top winner. Good day!
5 Price Tags: Russell lost (2 chances); Ford Mustang ($20,985)
Pushover: Kelvin lost; Ford Focus ($17,162)
Barker’s Markers: Andrew wins; Treadmill, Grandfather Clock, and Stemware (+$500)
Showcase Showdown #1: Russell wins with 90 cents
Pick A Pair: Lisa wins (Conditioner and Popcorn $3.99); Trip to the Pacific Islands
Flip Flop: Mitch wins by “flip flopping”; Entertainment Center and 42-inch TV Set ($4998)
Dice Game: Denise lost (rolled “6”); Dodge Neon ($16,215)
Showcase Showdown #2: Denise wins with 95 cents
Showcase: Denise wins; “Directions” Showcase, GPS Systems, Laptop Computer, and Sailboat ($32,257 in prizes)
Russell wanted to hear about the Ford automobile’s engine (V8) again before using his two chances in 5 Price Tags. Our studio audience got to a couple of greyhounds during today’s show, including one dog who had his eyes focused on potential owner Kelvin of Contestant’s Row. For many loyal viewers, it was clear from the moment Kelvin decided to leave the first six numbers of the Pushover lineup in the window that he would lose. As Russell was about to spin, numerous members of the audience began chanting his name as a major sign of support after his unfortunate loss in 5 Price Tags. Denise’s strategy in the Dice Game to get something above “4” after each roll, but it didn’t work out for the best. She would earn 95 cents on her first of the Big Wheel, resulting in another challenge for her fellow contestants. Today’s Showcases featured “Directions”, a Sailboat, and some Golf Equipment. We end today’s show around the Sailboat!
(Folks, I have unfortunately just stumbled upon another negative Price-related news story and this one would really make the most devoted Price viewer angry. This article was published on Saturday, October 1st and its available online at the Park Record website, based in Park City, Utah. All have to say is that "the enemy within" just had her way after a chain reaction lasting over a decade. Good day and good luck!)
Clock Game: Andrew wins (1 second left); Sink Cabinet ($824) and ($899) (+$1000)
Cliffhangers: Deborah wins (11 steps); Catamaran
One Away: Robert wins; Pontiac Vibe ($18,641)
Showcase Showdown #1: Robert wins with 90 cents
Double Prices: Zachary wins; Trip to Victoria, British Columbia, Canada ($2605)
It’s In The Bag: Patrick lost $8000
Any Number: Shannon wins USA Flag ($286); Ford Focus ($17,140)
Showcase Showdown #2: Patrick wins with 70 cents
Showcase: Patrick wins; Travel Books, Living Room Group, and the Ford 500 ($31,794 in prizes)
Andrew bears witness to the Clock Game today, a game he was unfamiliar with until Bob reminded him about the rules. Twenty-seconds of game time later, Andrew’s game was a complete success. It seems Robert wasn’t paying attention to Bob’s instructions to ask, “ladies do I have at least one number right”, according to his response of “yes”. Representing a group of self-proclaimed pirates was Patrick, who unfortunately ruined the chance at a perfect show. Early on in the game It’s In The Bag, Bob accidentally revealed the second item hidden while asking Patrick if he wants to go for $2000. Shannon became the proud owner of a giant flag representing the USA. Today’s Showcases featured warning labels, Travel Books, a Travel Trailer, and the Ford 500. We end today’s show with Patrick and his fellow “pirates” crowding the new Living Room Group.
Lucky 7: Jeffrey wins ($2 left); Pontiac Grand Prix ($24,686)
Grand Game: Tiffany wins $10,000 (Target Price $5.00)
Magic #: Claudia wins (Magic Number $1232); Fireplace and Trip to Carmel
Showcase Showdown #1: Jeffrey wins with 90 cents
Shell Game: Davina wins (First Shell); Chairs and 50-inch TV Set
Cover Up: Betty lost; Pontiac Sunfire ($17,841)
Coming or Going: Coe lost by “Going”; Computer and Desk ($6253)
Showcase Showdown #2: Betty wins with 95 cents
Showcase: Jeffrey wins; Dining Room Group, Jukebox, and Trip to Switzerland ($46,435 in prizes)
Since Jeffrey represented a crew mostly consisting of folks who want to be a “Barker’s Beauty”, he also wore the shirt stating that request. Before Tiffany could read part of her poem expressing her dedication to the show, Bob wanted her eyes to feast upon the Grand Game’s total prize of $10,000. Bob stopped Tiffany’s reading of the poem immediately after the line about running around in underwear, but in spite of that he still found the poem to be “cute”. Claudia’s enthusiasm was a threat to Bob off and on stage, including the moment the camera was zooming out from Magic #. Before our University of South California student learned of her outcome in the game, resulting in her anticipated outburst of energy, Bob left for the Big Doors that concealed Claudia’s prizes. Betty had a good process of elimination strategy in Cover Up today, but it wouldn’t last for the last digit in the Pontiac automobile’s price. During Davina’s first spin of the Big Wheel, she wanted to give what she calls a “shout out” before elaborating for our host during the second spin that she wanted to give one out to her husband. Today’s Showcases featured “The True Story of King Arthur”, a Magic Set, a Ford F-150, and a Trip to Switzerland. Jeffrey passed the King Arthur Showcase over to Betty, since she lost a car during her Pricing Game. We end today’s show with Jeffrey and his crew of possible “Barker’s Beauties” celebrating on stage.
2 For The Price of 1: Barry lost (chose middle number); Tennis Equipment ($838) and 42-inch TV Set
Let ‘Em Roll: Robert wins $4000; Dodge Neon
Bonkers: Cynthia lost; Trip to Spain ($7016)
Showcase Showdown #1: Barry wins with 95 cents
Any Number: Margaret wins Trash Compactor ($489); Ford Focus ($16,215)
Range Game: Mary lost; Gazebo ($6350)
Poker Game: Natalia lost; Art Supplies, Sofa, Game Table, and Stemware
Showcase Showdown #2: Margaret wins with 80 cents
Showcase: Barry wins; “Hungry Ants” Showcase, Ice Chest, Spa, and Pontoon Boat ($26,316 in prizes)
Before making her first bid, proud Ohio resident Cynthia gave her fellow audience members and contestants hugs & kisses, followed by giving Bob some “Hugs” candy. If Robert had quit Let ‘Em Roll after his first of two rolls, he would have left with $1500 less in cash prizes than the $4000 he managed to get in his second roll. Cynthia may know how to play Bonkers, like every other Pricing Game, but in reality she wouldn’t consider it to be among her favorites. Members of the audience shouted “1” about a second before Bob announced the first price digit in Any Number. After the Gazebo’s price was revealed in Range Game, Mary was no where to be found on screen. Natalia’s decision to keep her “hand” instead of passing it to the House in Poker Game sealed her fate. Today’s Showcases featured human-sized ants, a Pontoon Boat, and a Folding Trailer. We end today’s show with one of those ants attempting to attack our announcer Rich, but failed to even place fear into him. Good day!
Safe Crackers: Leah lost (Combination 760); Trip to Puerto Vallarta and Home Weather Station
Punch A Bunch: Ian wins $500 with 3 punches
Card Game: Helene lost ($2000 card); Ford Focus ($18,950)
Showcase Showdown #1: Leah wins with $1.00 ($1000)
Take Two: Giovanna lost (Home Gym and Daybed Total $3059); Cotton Candy Machine and Telescope
Pass the Buck: Ronny wins $8000 (Truck behind Card #3); Ford Ranger
Squeeze Play: Will wins (removed “3”); Computer and Desk ($2586)
Showcase Showdown #2: Giovanna wins with 75 cents
Showcase: Giovanna wins; “Incompetent Trainer” Showcase, Range, Antique Gas Pump, and Buick LaSabre ($32,194 in prizes)
Bob had to remind Leah during Safe Crackers that she only had the “0” left after making her last two decisions in the safe’s possible combination, depending to the Weather Station’s price of course. Future attorney at law Ian became $500 richer at the Punchboard today once Bob’s buildup to a climax that was “meant to be” ended. Everyone witnessing today’s show got to meet Daisy the Dog as she made her world debut before potential new owners. Helene may have assumed the Ford automobile would be in the $18,000-$19,000 after her last bid in Card Game, explaining the shock experienced by all after the actual price was revealed. Audience member Jeffrey’s reaction as the Tennis Bracelet was brought into Contestant’s Row was, “wow wee”, yet he never actually saw the bracelet on the one wearing it. Ronny only had 2 chances in Pass the Buck and risked the $3000 he found first. Before Giovanna earned a score of 75 cents, she said “hello” to her loved ones, including 90-year-old grandma Marie back in the state our contestant referred to as “Jersey”. Today’s Showcases featured an incompetent fitness trainer, the unfortunate trainee, an Antique Gas Pump, a Buick automobile, and a Pair of Motorcycles in the “Port O’Price”. We end today’s show with Giovanna still displaying plenty of energy around her crew celebrating in front of the new LaSabre.
Showcase: Kathy wins; “Pet Help Wanted Ads” Showcase, Trip to Rio De Janeiro, Wine Cellar, and Jeep Wrangler, ($38,725 in prizes)
Bob made his entrance through the audience today, giving lucky folks on both sides of the aisle a chance to give him a high five. Elizabeth had the potential to make a vertical leap on stage, according to the energy she displayed shortly after exiting Contestant’s Row. Her second Plinko chip didn’t make it into any prize lot on the first drop, but this little incident on account of the chip set the outcome of Elizabeth becoming over $10,000 richer. Betty of Georgia, wearing tented glasses and a Georgia Bull Dogs cap joins Bob on stage for One Away. After learning from the ladies that only 2 of the 5 digits in the Pontiac automobile’s price were correct, it was clear to Betty that she was in a good situation. Unfortunately for Samantha and viewers hoping for a perfect show, she won’t be dancing to the sounds of the Jukebox featured today. Lloyd began listening for advice from his wife Stephanie from the fourth item and so fourth in Check Out. Schoolteacher Jetta of Maryland had a most interesting reaction to the reveal of the Chevy automobile, she called out for her pappy, who stayed home during Jetta’s visit to the show. Before the last digit in Dice Game was revealed, Bob asked Jetta if she had one thing to say to her pappy, only to learn that she wants to say something to God. During Jetta’s two spins of the Big Wheel, she said hello to everyone she’s known before complimenting Lloyd as “the man” as her second spin ended. Today’s Showcases featured “The Price is Right Gazette”, two trips spanning the northern Atlantic, and a Pontiac Premium Convertible. We end today’s show with Kathy and her crew in front of the Jeep Wrangler.
