Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6285)

Squeeze Play: John wins (removes “2”); Trip to the Caribbean ($8546)

Card Game: Catherine lost ($1000 Margin); Jeep Wrangler ($19,850)

Plinko: Marie wins $20,500 with 3 Plinko chips

Showcase Showdown #1: Catherine wins with 95 cents

Bullseye: Patrick wins (Hits $11.96); Golf Cart and Golf Set

Money Game: Maria wins; Ford Focus ($17,235)

Step Up: Ian wins Popcorn Machine and Motorcycle (+$500); Model Ship and Dining Room Table

Showcase Showdown #2: Patrick wins with 70 cents

Showcase: Catherine wins; Living Room Group, Dance Lessons, and Jukebox ($17,377 in prizes)

For the first time I have noticed a dark “TV-G” rating during the opening of the show, but it makes no difference in this age of screen clutter on television. Before John learned whether he removed the right digit in Squeeze Play or not, Bob asked members of the audience, including anybody from the Caribbean about the correct pronunciation about that area of the world. “CAH-RIB-be-en”, said one member of the audience and that is John’s next stop after today’s show. This moment reinforces the educational value of the show, as Bob reminded viewers after the first break. Catherine actually had a bid of $18,200 before stopping at $18,000 in the Card Game. Marie’s congregation in the audience helped after the last small item in Plinko was revealed. According to Bob, if Marie had all five Plinko chips, “the show would have been broke” financially. Patrick of the USA’s Navy hit between $10-$12 on the Bullseye with the purchase of four Peanut Butter jars priced a $2.99. Ian stopped after choosing the Motorcycle in Step Up, since choosing the Popcorn Cart turned out to be a bad choice. Today’s Showcase featured Dance Lessons, a Jukebox, Gold Bars, and a 2006 model Pontiac Grand Prix. We end today’s show with Catherine nowhere near her prizes, as the show went to the split screen credits a little quicker today.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6284)

Pushover: Jeffrey wins; Iron Bed ($3699)

Punch A Bunch: Angela wins $600 with 4 Punches (including Second Chance)

One Away: Brad lost; Chevy Malibu ($23,572)

Showcase Showdown #1: Angela wins with 95 cents

1 Right Price: Paula wins; Home Gym and Grandfather Clock ($2323)

Check Out: Tania lost (-$2.91); Dining Room Group

That’s Too Much: Kristina wins; Ford Focus ($18,095)

Showcase Showdown #2: Kristina wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Kristina wins; “Vacation Photos” Showcase, Portable DVD Player, Camping Trailer, and Cruise of the Mediterranean ($42,340 in prizes)

Jeffrey of Schleswig, Iowa only views the show on a rainy day, which didn’t please numerous members of the audience before our contestant could play Pushover. Jeffrey may not be an everyday viewer, but he knew Pushover and audience reaction so well that he made the game easier than it was today. Angela was very wise to move on from the first hole of the Punchboard containing $50 to the one with $500, but she had a good feeling that her third hole would lead up to more. Brad of the USA’s Navy had at four digits correct in the price of the Chevrolet automobile at one point, until he changed the “3” to a “1”. Our host’s hopes for Tania in Check Out were like a roller coaster a second after the last item’s price was revealed. Kristina’s third shout of “That’s Too Much!” was accepted before the game can begin. It was Kristina’s grandma that introduced her to Price, which was enough for Bob to salute all the grandmothers of this country during Showcase Showdown #2. Today’s Showcase featured “Less Known Investment Firms”, a Sailboat, photographs, and a Cruise of the Mediterranean.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6203)
(Original Air Date 4-29-2005)

5 Price Tags: Freddie lost (1 Chance); Chrysler Sebring ($26,145)

Grand Game: Brian wins $10,000 (Target Price $10.00)

Coming or Going: ShiiJeff wins by “Coming” ; Electric Fireplace & Entertainment Center ($6838)

Showcase Showdown #1: Brian wins with 80 cents

Barker’s Markers: Arlene lost; Floor Clock, Lounge Chair, and Heart Shaped Crib

Cover Up: Kindall lost; Dodge Neon ($16,359)

1 Right Price: Mary Lou lost; Dining Room Table ($1977) and Popcorn Machine

Showcase Showdown #2: Kindall wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Kindall wins; “Shushy” Showcase, Refrigerator, Alaska Cruise, and Ski Boat ($24,145 in prizes)

After complimenting Bob on being “the man” more than once, Freddie would face the challenge of choosing only one out of five possible prices for the Sebring. Grand Game’s latest target price made it slightly easy for Brian, whose accumulation of about $10,000 would pay off a student loan. Bearing the unique name of ShiiJeff, he became the proud owner of one hybrid of an entertainment center. Arlene carefully returned her $500 to Bob with dignity shortly after her loss in Barker’s Markers. Kindall was quick on his feet when attempting to correct the middle number, so quick that he didn’t realize that unlike “5” and “9” there was no other “3” in the price of the Dodge automobile. Mary Lou may have lost the Popcorn Machine and a Dining Room Table to serve the snack food on, but she received a free box of the popcorn filled close to the brim courtesy of Bob. Mary Lou relived a incident similar to one in Las Vegas, only then there was no Big Wheel to cause her fall or a TV camera to capture it. Today’s Showcases featured questions starting with “What If”, a snow creature called “Shushy", and Rich’s uncontrollable laughter during Kindall’s Showcase. We end this week’s worth of shows on a high note!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6201)
(Original Air Date 4-27-2005)

Flip Flop: Joe lost by “flopping”; Electric Vehicle ($7695)

3 Strikes: Tracy lost; Chevy Corvette ($51,370)

It’s In The Bag: Flora wins $0

Showcase Showdown #1: Joe wins with 90 cents

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Ricardo wins; Trip to Aspen, Colorado and Atlanta, Georgia (Bargain of $2000)

Card Game: Sandra lost ($1500 card); Pontiac Sunfire ($17,125)

Most Expensive: Melissa wins; Banjo, Baker’s Rack, and Bar Set (Most Expensive)

Showcase Showdown #2: Sandra wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Sandra wins; “The Price is Right Department Store” Showcase, Bicycles, Game Table, and Ford Focus ($25,620 in prizes)

After an almost unanimous audience responded with "flop" as Bob reminded Joe of Palm Springs how to play Flip Flop, our player had no choice but to go down this route. Turns out the word “shame” would apply the members of the audience who steered Joe the wrong way. A perfect bid would win Tracy’s way on stage for a Chevrolet automobile in addition to a $500 bonus. As the untimely end was coming closer, Tracy used the time to speak almost non-stop about her loyalty to Bob since “Truth or Consequences”, including a memory of a time when our host wore a fake mustache easily fooling members of the audience back then. Eventually Bob would thank Tracy for reminding him of that moment. Flora of Hawaii’s journey from the audience to the Big Wheel began roughly after it was discovered that her last name was written incomplete on Rich Fields' list of contestants. Unlike the events leading up the outcome of today’s Flip Flop, it was clear as crystal that Flora wouldn’t even win $1000 with a box of popcorn over a price less than $1.00. Sandra, whom Bob referred to as a “pretty little girl” while asking for her prize to be revealed, unfortunately won’t be the proud owner of something else bigger in price than a $25 gift certificate for “some island restaurant” as she put it. We’ll see what lies behind one of the big doors once Sandra experiences the Showcase, possibly another car. Today’s Showcases, featured a gossiping female, a trailer, and yep a car. We end today’s show with Sandra and most, if not all of her California student body surrounding her personal mean of transportation.

(May your Turkey Day, your Recognition of the North American Pilgrims Day, your Day of Thankfulness, your Pre-Thanksgiving Sales Day, and overall your Thanksgiving Day be among the best.)

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6283)

Triple Play: Alisha lost; Chevy Cobalt ($16,110), Ford Mustang ($20,985), and Ford Explorer ($27,415)

Clock Game: Derek wins Tennis Equipment ($838) (4 seconds left); Range ($949)

Half Off: Jessica wins $10,000 (2 Halves and Box #8)

Showcase Showdown #1: Derek wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Double Prices: Raeanne wins; Bed ($3606)

Pass the Buck: Randall wins $5000 (Card 5); Jeep Wrangler (Card 6)

Range Game: Jack wins; Piano ($13,990)

Showcase Showdown #2: Raeanne wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Raeanne wins; “Paulette the Presbyterian Pilgrim” Showcase, Stereo System, Portable Spa, and Chrysler Sebring ($32,410 in prizes)

Celebrating her first year of marriage on today’s show was Kentucky resident Alisha, who joined today’s studio audience along with her husband John and friend Scott from Chicago, Illinois. After learning that her husband would drive the Ford Mustang, it appeared that Alisha suddenly forgot that all three automobiles would be hers if all goes with the last car in Triple Play. The Clock Game has been given another change in color schemes. Only the bottom part of the game remains yellow. After Marine representative Derek’s time ran out, Bob told viewers before the break that they’ll try again in the search for a big winner. Jessica representing the USA’s Navy in a gray shirt had four boxes to choose from in Half Off and her first choice was originally Box #2. Some contestants would choose Box #10, but for some reason Jessica changed her mind about her first choice and decided to settle with Box #8. Raeanne is now the proud owner of a $3606 Bed, courtesy of Double Prices. Jack has never played a Piano, but he will learn to play like his sister and grandmother, who happens to be the audience today. If Jack had stopped the range in Range Game one second later, he would have missed the price of the Piano that was only $10 away from $14,000. Today’s Showcase featured Paulette the Pilgrim, her horn, a Trip to Boston, Massachusetts, and a Chrysler Sebring. We end today’s show with Raeanne and her crew in purple celebrating around the Chrysler automobile. Good day!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6282)

Eazy Az 1, 2, 3: Katrina wins; Luggage Set, Dining Room Table, and Recumbent Bicycle

Plinko: Theresa wins $2600 with 4 Plinko chips

Ten Chances: Derek wins (Six Chances); Crape Maker ($30), Couple of Guitars ($620), and Ford Focus ($18,970)

Showcase Showdown #1: Derek wins with 95 cents

Pick A Pair: Regina wins (Canned Tomatoes and Tomato Soup cost 99 cents); 57-inch TV Set and Triple Seating Group

Money Game: Mia wins; Chevy HHR ($17,584)

Coming or Going: Bethany lost by “Coming”; Trip to Copenhagen, Denmark ($8354)

Showcase Showdown #2: Mia wins with 95 cents

Showcase: Derek wins; “Raggedy Ann Anniversary” Showcase, Rocking Chair, Washer/Dryer, Motorscooter, and Chevy Impala ($47,237 in prizes)

Representing her home state of Michigan in the form of a southern California student was Katrina. Bob directed Theresa toward the camera that would get her full facial expression once our announcer Rich gives her the good news that, “you’re going to play Plinko for a chance of up to $50,000!” Theresa’s first two Plinko chips were dropped from both sides of the Plinko board, giving her $100 and $1000 respectively. Derek had seven out of ten chances to win the Ford automobile today. Viewers were not given their daily ticket information today, folks, and the same goes for Rich’s reminder to “stay tuned” for the second half of the show. Mia found both ends of the 2006 Chevy HHR’s price without ever finding a dollar sign, thus making this a perfect Money Game. After the trip to Copenhagen, Denmark was revealed, our host admitted to always pronouncing the name of the city “Co-pen-HAW-gen” before asking the audience if anybody has relations to Denmark. When Bethany was asked how she pronounces Copenhagen, a member of the audience pronounced the last two syllables “HAY-gen” before she did. Unfortunately, Bethany should have been “going to Co-pen-HAW-gen”, as Bob jokingly put it at the end of the game. It may be interesting to some long time viewers that Rich said, “we need a Janice” a second before calling her to come on down and Bob agrees that she fits perfectly in Contestant’s Row. Out of all the groups making up the audience today, including a group of ladies with hats (who were unmentioned on-air), there was a no other who can scream as loud as the trio of young ladies Bob gave mention to today. One of the CBS pages managed to receive a slap on the hand from members of Contestant’s Row for luck. Today’s Showcase featured a celebration of the Raggedy Ann doll, a Rocking Chair, a Chevy Impala, and a bunch of Towels to go along with the Hovercraft. We end today’s show with Derek celebrating around his second new automobile.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6280)

Coming or Going: Lenore lost by “Coming”; Trip to Mazatlan, Mexico ($2504)

Punch A Bunch: Haley wins $1000 with 3 Punches

Line ‘Em Up: Bonito lost; Horror Movies on DVD, Chopper, Karaoke Machine, and Dodge Neon ($22,129)

Showcase Showdown #1: Lenore wins with 90 cents

Pick A Pair: Peter wins (Popcorn and Topping Cherries cost $2.29); Patio Table and Hot Tub

Shopping Spree: Rosella wins ($7000 to spend); Safe, Cradle, Portable Tennis Ball Machine, and Home Gym

Safe Crackers: Nathan wins (Combination 760); Weather Station and Ford Focus

Showcase Showdown #2: Peter wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Lenore wins; Dining Room Group, Ice Cream Cakes for a Year, and Pair of Motorcycles ($18,574 in prizes)

Haley of Contestant’s Row attempted to bid $0 on a Soccer Table since she was bidding last, but changed it to $1 under the sounds of great applause. Bob never commented on this moment, by the way. Some contestants would settle for a $500 slip found in the second out of three holes made in Punch A Bunch, but Haley hoped for something more while moving on to the third hole. I have a feeling that Haley will be receiving too much attention (unfortunately) in the Price online communities, not for just her $0 bid, but for her physical appearance. Irene, a former Martinez had a lengthy discussion with our host over her maiden name and the family she’s in now. Representing the USA’s Army was Peter among numerous groups of Service representatives making up the audience today. Peter walked over to the Popcorn featured in Pick A Pair in his attempt at finding a pair priced the same. Celebrating her 80th year of life on the show thanks to her son (in the audience) was Rosella, who now owns gifts worth over $7000 thanks to today’s appearance of Shopping Spree. Another military representative joins Bob on stage and that would be Nathan of the USA’s Air Force. Rosella managed to spin the Big Wheel on her own without Bob’s help. Today’s Showcase featured three types of Screens, Ice Cream Cakes, and a Pair of Motorcycles. We end this week’s worth of shows with Lenore as our top winner. Good day!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6279)

Check Game: Jennifer lost (Check for $3700); Trip to Canada ($4011)

Half Off: Jesse lost (2 Halves and Box #7); Box #4 contained $10,000

Any Number: Leslie lost; Ford Mustang ($21,610)

Showcase Showdown #1: Jesse wins with 75 cents

Pass the Buck: Margaret wins $3000 (Card #2); Chevrolet Cobalt (Behind #5)

Take Two: Laverne lost (Sofa and Scooter Total $4718); Knife Set and Replica Gasoline Pump

Squeeze Play: Julia lost (removed second “9”); Electric Vehicle ($9390)

Showcase Showdown #2: Margaret wins with 85 cents

Showcase: Jesse wins; “Café Dishes” Showcase, Watch, Trip to Australia, and Trailer ($37,733 in prizes)

Before Bob revealed whether Kenneth’s bid of $7200 on a Catamaran (without jet engines) was a good decision, the West Virginia resident mentioned that he shops in Johnny Olson’s hometown of Louisville in the same state. Jennifer asked our host if the trip to Canada is a “round trip”, with him jokingly responding that contestants have to pay for their own way home. Jesse believed in the history of good luck behind number 7, but today’s appearance in Half Off was an exception to that history, though the four boxes made the chance of Box #7 containing $10,000 in cash greater. Margaret decided to keep the $3000 she found with her first chance in Past the Buck. Laverne’s first combination in Take Two was the Scooter and Replica Gasoline Pump. She stayed with the Scooter, yet she never once considered the Sofa. Today’s Squeeze Play outcome was quite a surprise, even Bob was surprised (“ay, yi, yi!”) about the “5” being the digit that should have been removed. Today’s Showcase featured café dishes, an expensive Watch, and the Ford 500. We end today’s show with Jesse and his crew in front of the Trailer.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6278)

3 Strikes: Stephanie wins (2 Strikes); Cadillac DeVille ($46,395)

One Wrong Price: Joseph lost; Trip to Atlanta (Wrong Price $4055), Boston, and Chicago

Grand Game: David lost $1000 (Target Price $4.00)

Showcase Showdown #1: Joseph wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Double Prices: Parker wins; Trailer ($7039)

Switcheroo: Dean wins Pancake Maker, Clock/Compact Disc Player, and Espresso Maker; Chevy Equinox ($22,935)

Magic #: Shoshanna lost (Magic Number $885); Crystal Stemware and Pool Table

Showcase Showdown #2: Dean wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Joseph wins; Living Room Group, Piano, and Spa ($17,383 in prizes)

Stephanie first pulled a strike out of the bag, but such bad luck did not mean the beginning of the end for her love of the game 3 Strikes and baseball itself. Joseph chose the trip to Boston for what he believed had the wrong price, yet Atlanta’s price seemed to stick out more. There was no Tabasco sauce in the Grand Game today, but for some reason David said “Tabasco sauce” before immediately changing it, but Bob caught him in the “act” anyway. After David found out that the Glad Trash Bags cost more than $4.00, Bob mistakenly called the adhesive supplement (below $4.00) “adhesive tape” before correcting himself. The ticket address was given out after Showcase Showdown #1, but it won’t be long until the online way of obtaining tickets also becomes a regular feature of the show. Our host reminded viewers to stay tuned for the second half of the show today, meaning CBS stations across the country have less time at programming their commercials or promotions. Dean had a good chance at winning every prize in Switcheroo after he was given another 30 seconds, including the Chevrolet automobile, but he still believed that the car’s price had a second pair of double digits side by side ($22,933 or $22,955). According to Dean’s reaction after the Pancake Maker’s price was revealed, he must really enjoy eating the breakfast delight. Shoshanna’s (pronounced Shoe-SHAN-NAH) choice of $885 in Magic # was below the prices of both prizes featured today. Today’s Showcase featured fortune cookies, a Living Room Group, a Trampoline, and a Chevy Impala.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6277)

Make Your Move: David wins; Clock Radio ($90), Bench ($625), and Trip to Alaska ($3127)

Spelling Bee: Shawn lost (3 Cards); Ford Focus

Freeze Frame: Paul lost; Brass Bed ($4234)

Showcase Showdown #1: David wins with 95 cents

Hi Lo: Margo wins; Dining Room Group

Switch?: Bryan wins with a “switch”; Popcorn Machine and Floor Clock

Dice Game: Mike wins; Chrysler PT Cruiser ($16,415)

Showcase Showdown #2: Bryan wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Bryan wins; 20-inch TV Set, Trip to Hawaii, and Boat ($40,577 in prizes)

Representing the USA’s Army for over 20 years is First Lieutenant David, now the proud owner of a combination Clock Radio/Compact Disc Player and $500 richer after a perfect bid on an Elliptical Trainer. Bob never had to explain the reward for a perfect bid in Contestant’s Row, which made David’s win more exciting. Our female Shawn only had three cards to spell CAR, but this mother of three children from Phoenix, Arizona really wanted to become the new owner of a Ford automobile. Like many other Freeze Frame contestants, Paul’s decision to freeze a price was greatly influenced by audience applause. Margo is truly the proud owner of a new Dining Room Group, including those dishes she likes. Mike’s last roll in the Dice Game turned out to be a “4”, sometimes a tough number to decide with at this point of the game, but Mike went for the odds and conquered this Pricing Game.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6276)

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Michael lost; Motorcycle and Dining Room Table (Bargain of $1200)

Temptation : Patrick wins Guitar, Floor Clock, Necklace, and Underwater Cameras ($9483 in gifts); Dodge Caravan ($19,340)

Plinko: Toni wins $600 with 3 Plinko chips

Showcase Showdown #1: Michael wins with 55 cents

Side By Side: Theresa wins (Left Side); Jukebox ($8995)

Any Number: Jeremy won $984; Ford Focus ($16,215)

Now or Then: Jacqueline lost (“Then” September 1996); 50-inch TV Set

Showcase Showdown #2: Jeremy wins with 90 cents

Showcase: Jeremy wins; Bedroom Group, Skin Creams & Lotions, and Trip to Sweden ($17,189 in prizes)

In just one second during the show’s opening, viewers such as myself were surprised to learn that after hearing Toni's name, this member of today’s first four contestants was actually female. Before coming on stage to participate in Barker’s Bargain Bar, Michael representing a group from the Los Angeles area “delayed” himself before having the will to walk up on stage. Michael overcame his nervousness as Bob reminded him where he is now, leading up to an amusing shout of “woo hoo!” Patrick was either tempted by the gifts featured in Temptation or he just wasn’t interested in the grand prize shortly after it was revealed. Patrick left Temptation with $9483 in prizes, probably to most ever offered value wise in the history of this game according to Bob. Antoinette, better known today as Toni learned that would play Plinko for at least $30,000, but still settles for a good amount of money after today’s playing. Today’s Showcases featured Lois and Claire, the “Unknown Sisters of Louis of Clark”, a Watercraft, a Ford Explorer, and a Trip to Sweden. It was clear to many viewers that Michael made an overbid with $60,000, which was one reason for Jeremy’s interesting bid of $30.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6275)

Safe Crackers: Dawn wins (Combination 950); Theater System and 47-inch TV Set

It’s In the Bag: Angela wins $16,000

Dice Game: Jason lost; Ford Focus ($16,215)

Showcase Showdown #1: Angela wins with 95 cents

Double Prices: Andrea wins; Trip to Hong Kong ($3228)

5 Price Tags: James wins (2 Chances); Chevy Malibu ($22,985)

Danger Price: Ashley wins; Power Tools, Banjo, Crib (Danger Price $2069), and Exercise Bicycle

Showcase Showdown #2: Andrea wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Showcase: Angela wins; “Useful Help Lines” Showcase, Camping Equipment, Trip to Las Vegas, and Sailboat ($37,422 in prizes)

After that “horrible sound” used after everyone in Contestant’s Row overbids, Dawn made a better bid in the next round of bids on a Spa. It seems Dawn was waiting 30 years to be with Bob, including a kiss on the cheek. Some viewers may think she is not 30 years of age, but it’s possible she may have heard of our host months before her day of birth. Angela wearing a long white skirt gave Bob his second kiss on the cheek today before our announcer Rich revealed to her the chance of winning $16,000. Today’s Dice Game was a case of “rare bad luck” for Jason of the USA’s Marines. Andrea may have been nervous, but she managed to say “$3228” in Double Prices without stuttering. James, a veteran of a certain conflict in Southeast Asia was called to come on down, coincidentally on a show taped for airing on Veterans’ Day. With only two chances out of four, James became the proud owner of a new Chevrolet automobile. Today’s appearance of Danger Price can be viewed as “very easy”, since it includes a Crib and a “Danger Price” above $2000. As Bob told Andrea she is now $1000 during Showcase Showdown #2, she had an interesting facial expression before jumping up in joy. Today’s Showcase featured a celebration of the four seasons, “1-555” telephone numbers, and a Sailboat. We end today’s show around that very boat. Good day!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6273)

Golden Road: Matthew lost (Starts with Pencil Erasers 81 cents); Electric Guitar ($849), Platform Bed ($2937), and Chevy Corvette

Cliffhangers: Ricardo lost; Sailboat

One Wrong Price: Wendy wins; Motorscooter, Refrigerator with 13-inch TV Set (Wrong Price $3401), and Sofa

Showcase Showdown #1: Ricardo wins with 85 cents

Pick A Pair: Ana Marie wins (Squeegee and Pail Reliever $5.99); Trip to Niagara Falls

Card Game: Cherrie wins ($2000 margin); Pontiac Vibe ($18,646)

Flip Flop: Andrew lost by “flopping”; Jukebox ($6495)

Showcase Showdown #2: Ana wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Double Overbid; “Roommates” Showcase, Riding Lawn Mower, Sauna, and Trailer; Year’s Supply of Bottled Water, Dining Room Group, and Snowmobile

Bob made his grand entrance through the audience today. Matthew’s reaction after the Chevrolet automobile was revealed appeared to be a sign of great potential, yet it would never match the outcome soon to come along the Golden Road. Major Ricardo of the USA’s Air Force missed the first item featured in Cliffhangers by only $1, but his chances of an amazing outcome were next to nothing after missing the Coin Slotter’s price of $30 by 23, leaving the mountain climber with only one step ahead. The small TV set included within the Refrigerator featured in One Wrong Price never fooled Wendy. After finding an ace in Card Game, Cherrie of Bakersfield, California seemed to be attempting to add to her bid before realizing that she can change her current bid to anything, or $18,000 in today’s game. Andrew will be returning home outside of the University of California without any plans to make room for the Jukebox featured in Flip Flop. Today’s Showcase featured roommates, their personal possessions, a Year’s Supply of Bottled Water, and the Snowmobile. We end today’s show the same way as yesterday’s journey into Price’s excellence, including lots of waving and Bob meeting folks in the audience.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6272)

Range Game: Stacy wins; Trip to Washington, District of Columbia ($3442)

Pocket Change: Victoria wins (50 cents to win Car); Pontiac G6 ($21,840)

Plinko: John wins $1600 with four Plinko chips

Showcase Showdown #1: Victoria wins with $1.00 + 5 cents ($6000)

Switch?: Maurice lost by “staying”; TV Set and Electric Scooter

Bullseye: Joshua hits $11.12; Dining Room Group

That’s Too Much: Andriana wins; Ford Focus ($19,115)

Showcase Showdown #2: Maurice wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Double Overbid; “The Price is Right Cheerleaders” Showcase, Sapphire Ring, Refrigerator, Trip to Canada, and Chevy Impala ; “Game Room” Showcase, Vending Machine, Pool Table, Arcade Machine, and Trip to Rio De Janeiro

Some viewers may say Stacy’s laugh sounded forced after hearing about the Range Game’s “37 Hour Rule”, but I believe otherwise. Representing Chicago, Illinois in Contestant’s Row was potential actor and director Maurice, who used his acting skills to express how much he would like to win a car. Like a good majority of the studio audience today, a young person such as Victoria of the University of California would like to win an automobile. After an almost perfect game of Pocket Change, Victoria seemed dazed before someone guided her back into the audience off camera. After shouting “Go Trojans” as the Big Wheel was beginning to stop, Victoria would have another dazed look in her eyes after becoming $1000 richer. Our potential actor and director Maurice ordered those Big Doors to reveal his Pricing Game and two prizes. Joshua’s purchase of eight Honey Buns was enough to hit the $10-12 area of the Bullseye. Celebrating 50 years of life on today’s show was Andriana, who proved her loyalty to the show spanning almost three decades during That’s Too Much. After only three reasons to go higher, Andriana had good reason to say, “That’s Too Much!” on the first price higher than $19,150. Before Maurice’s spin of the Big Wheel, he said “hello” to his grandmother Lorene Gibbs in Missouri. Since Maurice mentioned his grandmother’s place of residence, Bob mentioned that St. Louis is where he and his late wife Dorothy Jo married. According to our host, Maurice was so nervous during Andriana’s spin of the wheel that he had the urge to stop it by hand. Before the first Showcase was revealed, we would learn that Maurice’s first visit to Television City was during the week when our host was recovering from an illness, a rare thing in Bob’s years of hosting the show. Today’s Showcases featured the letters “R”, “A”, and “C’ (in that order) on large cards with the Mark Goodson Television logo on the opposite side and an Arcade Machine featuring three classic video games (including “Donkey Kong” and “Mario Bros.”). We end today’s show with Bob mingling with members of the audience, as every show with a Double Showcase Overbid ends.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6271)

2 For The Price of 1: Sharon lost (picked middle number first); Secretary Desk ($532) and Pair of Motorcycles

Hole in One: Daniel wins (Putts from Line 4); Chevy Colorado

Freeze Frame: John lost; Hot Tub ($5125)

Showcase Showdown #1: Daniel wins with 80 cents

Secret X: Lucy wins (X in the Middle); Trip to Cabo San Lucas

Cover Up: Carolyn lost; Ford Focus ($18,125)

Most Expensive: Juan wins; Grill, Exercise Machine (Most Expensive), and Day Bed

Showcase Showdown #2: Lucy wins with 80 cents

Showcase: Daniel wins; “Mother Time” Showcase, Grandfather Clock, Trip to London, and Pontiac Grand Prix ($57,986 in prizes)

Sharon wanted to win the Secretary Desk for her son, yet it never worked out as a result of choosing “6” over “2” as the prize’s last digit. Daniel’s gut feeling of choosing the Malted Milk before the Lotion helped him reach the fourth putting line in Hole in One, otherwise he would have made the mistake of taking the audience advice of choosing the Lotion beforehand. Before Daniel made his winning putt, he had the honor of holding Bob’s microphone as our host did his inspiration putt with a new putter. Unlike most Hole in One players, Daniel reacted in words after Bob ended his slump in successful inspiration putts. A second before missing the correct price digits of the Hot Tub featured in Freeze Frame, John told our host that $5125 was right before realizing what he missed. As John waited for that price to come around again, members of the audience managed to change his mind. Our announcer Rich gave viewers the address for tickets today, though today’s show was taped before last Friday’s show (see episode numbers). It’s possible that on-air information on both the traditional and online way of obtaining show tickets will be put out during the rest of Year 34, but the disappearance of Rich’s reminder to “stay tuned” for the second-half of the show will likely be permanent before 2006 comes around. Though Secret X requires good knowledge of small items and luck, members of the audience were guiding Lucy on where to place her only “X” won. Carolyn never hesitated with the choices of “1” and “2” for the first digit in the Ford Focus’ price. Today’s Showcases featured a Petite Grand Piano, “Mother Time”, and a Pontiac Grand Prix with a cardboard cutout of “Father Time” in the driver’s seat. We end today’s show with Daniel and his crew in front of the Pontiac automobile.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6291)

Swap Meet: LaTanya wins (Chair $899); Electric Guitar, Exercise Equipment, and Range ($899)

Bonkers: Brody wins; Barrel Sauna

Pass the Buck: Craig wins (Card #1); Ford Focus

Showcase Showdown #1: Craig wins with 75 cents

Barker’s Bargain Bar: Agnieszka wins; Trip to Seattle and Scottsdale (Bargain of $1000)

Bonus Game: Christian wins (“Bonus” in Fourth Window); Dining Room Group

Line ‘Em Up: Angelina wins; Table Lamps, Ice Shaver, Knives Set, and Jeep Wrangler ($19,215)

Showcase Showdown #2: Angelina wins with 95 cents

Showcase: Craig wins; Bedroom Group, 42-inch TV Set, and Snowmobile ($43,067 in prizes)

LaTanya’s winning choice in Swap Meet surprised Bob, your daily writer, and numerous viewers who are unfamiliar with chairs equaling the price of a Gas Range. Brody was given the opportunity to test his skills at being a master of ceremonies (emcee) by explaining Bonkers. After a rough start (“two choices” in Bonkers), Brody made the job seem easier even to Bob. Craig only had one chance in Pass the Buck, so it seemed appropriate that he would allow our host to remove Card #1 from its right side. For the sake of record keeping, after Showcase Showdown #1 our announcer Rich directed viewers over to CBS.com to obtain show tickets online. This new way of giving out ticket information, the end of Rich’s half-hour reminders to “stay tuned”, and the end of the shrinking Price logo with a camera shot of the audience before the fifth commercial break are so far the most noticeable changes to come out of Year 34. According to Angelina’s shirt, Bob is #1 (front side) and singer Tony Bennett is #2 (back). She received much applause from the audience after escaping Contestant’s Row to play Line ‘Em Up. After learning that none of the Jeep’s correct digits were lined up, Angelina did the complete opposite of that outcome. Today’s Showcases featured some “Pampering” (including a Recliner and a 2006 model Cadillac), a Plasma TV set, and a Snowmobile. Angelina’s Showcase bid went over the one with the Cadillac by so little, but she’ll be leaving as the proud owner of a Jeep. We end today’s perfect show with Craig and Price’s crew walking the stage in an orderly fashion. Good day!

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6290)

Danger Price: Brett lost; Encyclopedia, Sofa (Danger Price $1488), Jukebox, and a Couple of Clocks

Let ‘Em Roll: Carla wins; Chevy Cobalt

Switch?: Hagout wins with a “switch”; Trip to Maui, Hawaii and Montreal, Canada

Showcase Showdown #1: Carla wins with 70 cents

Pick A Number: Betty lost (picked “6”); Player Piano ($7500)

Money Game: Elizabeth wins $245; Ford Focus ($17,047)

Punch A Bunch: Rhonda wins $1250 with 3 Punches + Second Chance

Showcase Showdown #2: Elizabeth wins with 85 cents

Showcase: Carla wins; “Violations” Showcase, Range, Spa, and Pontoon Boat ($45,422 in prizes)

The odds of the small Clocks being priced $1488 were not in Brett’s favor today. Bob invited Betty of Contestant’s Row to come on stage to finally fulfill her dream of hugging him for a lengthy period of time while wearing an interesting looking hat. Since Betty did not flip the hat before hugging Bob for about almost 10 seconds, our host took the liberty of flipping it for her. “Carla has a car”, said Bob after today’s Let Em’ Roll victory. Ticket information was never given out after Carla earned a spot in today’s Showcase. Betty continued to amaze everyone on stage after asking our host “is that a 9” among the digits she must chose with Pick A Number. It became clear that Betty was fooling around with Bob’s mind after saying, “you said 9”. Shortly after this amusing exchange Bob did say “9”, prompting Betty to say “6”. In spite of losing a Player Piano she would enjoy playing herself, Betty had the time of her life on stage. Yet another oddity to loyal viewers, our announcer Rich never said, “stay tuned for more Pricing Games and the fabulous Showcases, which are coming up on the second half of The Price is Right.” Jack Barker received a warm greeting from our host after arriving into Contestant's Row. There happened to be a couple of more Barkers in the studio, including another fellow named Bob and his wife. Rhonda the future mother of “Bob’s Future Replacement” with the presumptuous message printed on her shirt with the arrow pointing to her belly, found $1000 in the first hole she punched out, but she wanted more. The third hole had a slip with $250 and a Second Chance, giving Rhonda a chance to punch out the hole holding another $1000 slip. It’s interesting to note that the last hole Rhonda punched out was in the middle of the triangle pattern she made on the Punchboard. Members of the audience actually booed Betty after she fulfilled the dream of spinning the Big Wheel, though it didn’t go around completely in her first spin. Today’s Showcases featured “Italian Cooking”, a Trip to Rome, violations of the law, and a Pontoon Boat (or Party Boat). Both Showcase differences came close to tying each other, but Carla’s difference was low enough to become today’s top winner. We end today’s show with Carla’s crew storming the stage and her new boat.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6268)

Credit Card: Jennifer wins ($2000 credit limit); Stroller, Kitchen Appliances, 23-inch TV Set, Cradle, and Cordless Telephones

Switcheroo: Cindy wins Chopper and Remote Control Car; Cookie Press, Shaver, and Pontiac Vibe ($18,546)

Coming or Going: Kevin wins by “Going”; Spa ($5334)

Showcase Showdown #1: Cindy wins with 75 cents

Most Expensive: Tracy wins; Riding Lawn Mower, Four Rock Guitars, and Dining Room Table (Most Expensive)

Now or Then: Diane lost (“Then” August 1998); Catamaran

One Away: Whitney lost; Ford Mustang ($20,985)

Showcase Showdown #2: Tracy wins with 50 cents

Showcase: Cindy wins; Living Room Group, Luggage, and Trip to Bangkok ($18,016 in prizes)

Jennifer of Seattle, Washington never shook or hesitated when choosing three of the cheapest prizes featured in Credit Card, including a rather large Stroller. Cindy jogged her way out of Contestant’s Row to play Switcheroo at the Turntable, where she made history according to Bob as the first contestant to “come so close to running out of time” and still manage to finish the game within 30 seconds. Kevin, a five-year veteran of the USA’s Marines is indeed the proud new owner of a Spa, since Bob mentioned the fellow’s reaction of “that’s awesome” shortly after the Big Doors opened. Tracy believes her two little boys are going to look “so cute” playing those guitars featured in Most Expensive. It’s likely those boys would enjoy the new Table Golf/Table Tennis Table their mother won back in Contestant’s Row with a bid of $551 after everyone overbid. Representing a bridal party in the audience was Whitney, who wanted to kiss Bob before marrying, and she got her wish before being summoned to come on down. Diane’s reliance on members of the audience failed at the end of Now or Then. Before our resident bride would escape Contestant’s Row, Bob mentioned for home viewers that instead of receiving words of encouragement, Darryl received stressed pronunciations of his name from members of the audience. After learning that only three digits in the Ford automobile’s price are correct, Whitney wanted to change the second digit to a number that was never there before Bob reminded her that “2” and “0” are the only choices. Unfortunately she changed her mind after that moment, leading up to today’s outcome in One Away. Members of the audience chanted “Whitney” and “Tracy” as the two contestants spun the Big Wheel in the second Showcase Showdown. Whitney’s score of 15 cents gave Tracy a good chance at winning a spot in today’s Showcase. Today’s Showcase featured a booklet for “Teaching Yourself Anger Management” with the flower-like logo used for Mark Goodson Television Productions for many years, ten $100 bills being counted, Luggage with pictures of Elvis Aaron Presley and Norma Jean, and a Ford Explorer. We end today’s show with Cindy and her crew celebrating within the door that revealed her trip.

Today's Airing of The Price is Right (#6267)

Half Off: Chris lost (3 Halves and Box #10); Box #15 contained $10,000

Race Game: Jocylen wins; Computer, Stemware, Exercise Bicycle, and Snow Blower

Any Number: Scott wins Ford Focus ($18,625); Sofa ($910)

Showcase Showdown #1: Chris wins with $1.00 ($1000)

Double Prices: James wins; Clock ($3150)

Dice Game: Ashley lost (rolled “4”); Ford Ranger ($15,541)

Hi Lo: Eunice wins; Trip to Mexico City and Eyewear

Showcase Showdown #2: Eunice wins with 75 cents

Showcase: Chris wins; “Daisy Dollar” Showcase, Cellular Phone, Brass Bed, and a Cruise to Tahiti ($19,361 in prizes)

Box #10 in Half Off seemed to be the right choice for Chris, according to the lengthy way the box was being handled before it finally brought over to our contestant to open. In spite of this unfortunate loss, Chris had the time of his life so far. Jocylen (pronounced Jo SEH LYN, as Bob would realize) had at least two prices beside their rightful items at one point in the Race Game, yet the Race Game display had “1” by mistake. Bob agrees that it’s only fair to give Jocylen all four prizes after this error made during the game. Scott’s lucky number “6” was his last digit chosen in Any Number, resulting in a victory run across the stage. Besides giving our announcer Rich Fields a low five, Scott also gave a hand to Price staffers Jeff and Barney at our host's request. Chris had another chance at gaining $10,000 today, but $1000 is still more than enough for anybody. James of the USA’s Navy became the proud owner of a new Grandfather Clock once hidden behind the Giant Price Tag, along with the game Double Prices itself. Ashley fell to the floor after the Ford truck was revealed, but was okay to play the Dice Game. Celebrating her 19th year of life today was Eunice, whose gifts now consist of a Mexican holiday and various sunglasses. Our birthday girl managed to beat both Ashley and James’ score of 70 cents in the second Showcase Showdown. Today’s Showcase featured a young lady named Daisy, her dog named Duke, her grandfather’s will & testament, a Cruise to Tahiti, Flowers for a Year, and a Piano courtesy of D.H. Baldwin Pianos. We end today’s show with Chris on his way to Tahiti.
